Walking from Frosterley, down across the railway tracks and into the woods on the far side of the river Wear, there are several quarries. Some are older than others. I’ve been taking film photographs around the most recently deceased quarry, but this time I visited the older quarry. Somewhere the countryside has reclaimed. I was also struck by the silhouette of the trees against the skyline. Black and white film photographs using a Pentax MX camera from the 1970s, and Kodak TMax 400 film.
