Microgrant for mission
Turning failure into opportunity. The Diocese of Durham offers micro grants for missional activities, managed by Linda Ransom the Growing Churches Enabler. I reached out for a grant for a wireless microphone and was encouraged to apply for a larger grant to cover the whole vlogging exercise.

The Church’s USP?
Thinking about the non-verbal communication of the church. Is it “Come to church we need your money and we have a job for you”, or is it “God knows you, loves you, and wants to set you free from the powers that crush you.”

Outcomes of enquirer’s course
The face-to-face enquirer’s courses felt like they had failed… it felt like no one came. What have I learned from this?

Minolta XG-9 picnic
The first roll of film through a secondhand Minolta XG-9 and I can see some problems with the images. There are light leaks and there is a scratch of blue along the bottom of each image. Lovely photographs though.

New Walk Leicester
A difficult day, the film was both under and over exposed and I was trying to do some street photography… which I’m not fast enough to do.
