During a break in a meeting, I took an amble along New Walk in Leicester, and tried to do some street photography. I don’t really know how to do street photography, and I don’t shoot fast with the little Pentax. Inevitably I found myself drawn back to buildings: especially those in the midst of urban decay. It was a very bright day, the exposure guide in my viewfinder told me I was everything from over to under exposing the HP5 film.
So I feel I have a lot to learn from this brief foray into a different style of photography – not least that perhaps the Minolta or the Canon may be better as they have automagical settings.
